It is unclear to what DLA stands for, so to sum it up, people say it stands for "Devils Little Angels" since the main characters are all monsters, that are or originate from the place in hell known as the Underworld, where monsters live in peace with their species and don't interfere with others. But some monsters such as Luna, Hunter, RC and Vincent's parents or guardians, don't believe in cities of only one species, so instead they live here in Moon River located in the Overworld where all monsters can live in secret among humans and work alongside each other to ensure the monster race, won't ever be revealed to the humans.

Due to the monster's DNA accidentally connecting to Dayvawn's bloodstream, He is now suddenly half-Cryptid. Kidnapped by the government, He was given two options: fight for them against other unknown monsters or die. The decision was easy, Dayvawn's new goal is to slay the creatures that dare harm humans. Zack does not know that Huro is also a prince and knows about his secret. He's the Prince of the United Kingdom of Cats, Wolves, Demons and Vampires, son of King Demonic and King Daniel. When Zack notices that Huro is acting suspicious on afternoon after sport, he follows Huro into a forest nearby the school. It's then that he finds out that Huro is a wolf cross vampire hybrid and that he is actually the heir to the throne like him. This gives him hope that everything will change, since he's known a little secret since he was 13. However, this is just the beginning of their story together.
