Let me tell you a fairy tale.
Once upon a time, two boys, Peter and Copper, were so closely twined together that they finished each other's thoughts. Though no sane man would mistake one for the other, the way they talked, laughed, joked, and acted made them mirror images of each other. The two boys were happy and innocent all the days of their childhood...
Unfortunately, their childhood was cut short.
In a whirlwind turn of events, Peter and Copper are separated. Peter, ever the hero, follows the shifting shadow of a King's Ranger into the forest after a Wargal attack. Copper waits in vain for his friend and is swept up by a less than heroic figure- one who teaches him to wield hate as the sharpest weapon. After all, who do you hate more than a man you once loved as a brother?
The stage is set. The curtain is drawn. I bid you look for a happily ever after, and hope there truly is one.

Off the Plank: A Neverland Story
In Neverland, no children grow up - except one. He was first a lost boy with no name and no past, then a reluctant pirate with no hope for a future. Now, he is about to become Neverland's new hero. Silver doesn't know where he belongs, with no memory of where he came from or even by what name he was called before he came aboard the Constantine as a lost, wandering ten-year-old. He also can't seem to figure out why has been growing from boy to adolescent much faster than he thought possible in a place where time supposedly stood still - a very strange island called Neverland, laden with myths of women with fish tails instead of legs, tiny men with insect wings, and natives who seem to know something the pirate captain doesn't. After his bloodthirsty captain leads him into the gruesome plundering of an indigenous village, Silver's quest for answers becomes a quest for redemption for the things he committed on that fateful day. But it will require having the courage to reckon with his past, accept his fate, and maybe even learn what love is for the first time. a continuation of happy__writing's book The World of the Ranger. I will be posting chapters 7 and beyond, whereas her profile only has Chapters 1 through 6. Please keep in mind that NONE of the original characters from this book are my own and all chapters are dedicated to happy__writing, as they are the original creator of the book and it's characters, except for the ones that John Flanagan has created. With these in mind, I leave you with the advice that if you have not yet read the first six chapters of The World of the Ranger, then I suggest that you do so now, because you will not be able to understand anything without them. Pandemonium
Kat never saw any of it coming. Not her Mother's death, not her brother's betrayal, not even the mysterious yet devilishly handsome boy she meets on the beach. Meeting a handsome boy on the beach would be a fine thing, a miracle even, if it weren't for the fact that she just tumbled miles down some churning, black hole in the ground -filled with what looked like stars- and woke up on a strange beach. The same beach where she meets the boy. Who is the boy? Well, let's just say he's no friend to Kat. He tests her physical and mental capabilities, until she no longer knows whether she's living in reality or her wildest fantasies. Because after all, magic only exists in fairytales....right? (A Twist On Peter Pan) “I’ll kill you, you hear me? I’ll kill you!” My face was red as I fought against the ropes that bound me to one of the masts. “I’d like to see you try Alison, because you’ll fail. Peter has failed, and look at him now.” He gestured to Peter, who was on his knees and was getting punched and kicked repeatedly by a large group of pirates. “And why don’t we watch your precious Will.” He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at Will, who was suffering the same fate as Peter. “Oh and don’t forget about your dear little Lost Boys.” I heard a scream and looked at Aaron, who was being hit by a man three times his size. “Stop! He’s just a little boy, please. You have me, you have Will and even Peter; we’re whom you want. Just let them go, you’ve won.” I sighed as the wicked man grinned at me. “Very brave Alison, very brave indeed. Well men, she said let the boys go, so let them go!” He said and I went pale as I realized what I had done. “No! Stop!” I screamed but it was too late. I watched with tears in my eyes as a pirate picked up Aaron and set him on the plank. I started to thrash around in the ropes, and felt them loosen a little bit. Come on! “I never liked children.” Hook said absentmindedly as Aaron started to cry, and looked at me, and I smiled at him. “Think of the stars Aaron, think of the stars.” I whispered as his scream rang out through the boat, just as I broke through the ropes and attacked. I took a breath and quickly wiped a stray tear from my eye, "I'm tired of living in their shadows, waiting for them to finally realize that I still exist. I tell myself to be strong, to ignore the pain that they cause me, but I can't. I love them. I love them and they don't love me." His face softened as he put a hand on my cheek and rubbed away another tear. I gave him a helpless shrug, "When will it be my turn for a happy ending?" ********* Everybody knows the story. Peter Pan flew to the nursery window of Wendy, John, and Michael Darling and took them all to Neverland where they had marvellous adventures filled with flying children, evil pirates, and mischievous mermaids. Most would call it a classic. But there is nothing classic about this tale. Little do story tellers know, there was a fourth Darling child who lived in the nursery. Ophelia Darling was seemingly forgotten when her siblings flew to Neverland, and now she's more alone than ever. Her siblings have shared an experience and made memories that she will never be able to compete with. Ophelia decides that there is nothing more vile in the world than the boy named Peter Pan, who stole her siblings from her. Join Ophelia Darling as she fights her way back into her siblings lives, and somewhere in the process, discovers that life is nothing like the way stories say it is. It's much more complicated. In an insignificant corner of Araluen sits an inn run by a man named Samuel. After the war against Morgarath he returned home only to find a wreck of what he once had. Disheartened by the turn of events far from in his favor, he must learn how to get by. When a Ranger visits his life is turned upside-down. Suddenly he's caught in the middle of action when all he wanted was peace and quiet, his humble village in danger, and only he can save it. -- Trigger/content warning for a little bit of blood/gore and self-sacrificial feelings. I didn't go too far with either because I cannot handle gore or want to make you upset, just enough for the plot. If you've read Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice or Brotherband Chronicles (both for tweens and without any TW's that I know of) and been okay, you should be perfectly fine here.Complete
