Marco is broken.

Ortiz is lost.

Osvaldo Di Mercurio is hiring men he can trust to work for his son so it's one less thing he has to worry about when he takes over. Marco and Ortiz were among those men and after a month of vigorous mental and physical training, the two of them are working and sharing a room in the guards quarters.

Though they were never really men of much words, Ortiz hears the younger mans cries and grunts in his sleep, from what he can only assume is from an awful and haunting past.

As they slowly warm up to each other feelings grow and Marco doesn't know how to feel about it. But with Ortiz's kind words and relaxing demeanor, Marco begins to open up.

He's well-aware of the prison's infamous reputation, corrupt laws and peculiar hierarchy, so he already expects to find the baddest of the bad and the foulest of the foul within its concrete walls. Instead, he finds and catches the eye of the most beautiful man he's ever laid eyes on. When Schneider Cross, the new King of the Prison, offers him a one-in-a-lifetime chance to represent him as his attorney, Julian accepts, but just before he leaves, a riot breaks out and the prison descends into chaos. Julian is unwittingly caught in its midst and is made to defend himself from a group of rapists, forcing him to kill in self-defense. Angered, the inmates conspire to pin a bogus murder charge on Julian and have him thrown into The Prison from Hell with the intention to finish what they started. Dangerously unprepared and still reeling from the injustice, Julian must now seek the protection of the strongest man in all the prison if he is to survive. Only to ensure the King's protection, Julian must agree to become his 'bitch' and 'serve' him in an entirely different way than the first job entailed. But how can Julian possibly agree to such a thing when he suspects Schneider of conspiring with the other inmates to get him locked up?

"Excuse me, sir. I think you may have dropped these?" It was the voice I noticed first. Smooth, a little amused, and low enough to draw me out of myself. Then I saw him. Dirty blonde hair that looked like waves crashing down the sides of his face, and freckles like splattered paint across his fair skin. A silver hoop in his nose, another in his brow, both catching the light. And those eyes... electric blue, staring into my green ones with intensity. - After a heartbreaking loss, Killian has spent two years shielding himself from love, or any human contact really-convinced that no one could ever replace the person he lost. Finn, on the other hand, is caught in the throes of a toxic relationship, knowing he's not getting what he deserves but is too scared to walk away. When their paths cross, the spark is undeniable, but both are hesitant, scared of getting too close. Killian fears the pain of loving and losing again, while Finn's relationship has made him lose hope all together-almost. Will they let their pasts define them, or can they find the courage to bloom together in the wake of their ruins?
