Belle moved to the other side of the world, London, to be exact leaving her entire life and family in LA just so that her best friend Chelsea could be with her (Belles) secret boyfriend that no one knew about. Chelsea saw him (Ethan) in public and told belle that he was cute and that she wanted to go talk to him so she did. Ethan and belle saw each other, they were panicking because they didn't know what to do. Belle excused herself and went to bathroom to text Ethan.
Since then Chelsea and Ethan were a thing and Chelsea didn't know about Belle and Ethans past until one day Belle couldn't take it anymore and told Chelsea.
Chelsea got angry and didn't want to talk to Belle.
