"Wanna play a game?" He says out of nowhere while my mind begins to wonder to visions of me and him on our honeymoon...
"That depends... is it a serious game?" I ask in disgust.
"I don't know, maybe a little."
"Well, let's just put all the cards on the table now... I can't take anything seriously. There, confession over with." I say and he chuckles.
"Well, anyway the games called The Twelve Days Of Riddles." He says with a smile on his face and an evil glint in his eyes.
"Ooooh me likey! Tell me more!" I squeal in excitement.
"Ok, everyday for twelve days I tell you a riddle at twelve o clock PM. You have until twelve o clock AM to answer me back. If you don't answer before then, then I get one point. If you get it wrong I get two points. If you get it right you get three points. Whoever has the most points in the end gets to do anything with the other person that they want to do on the thirteenth day, and here's the fun part. The amount of points you have is the amount of things you get to do. So if you had thirty points, not likely but just saying, you could do thirty things to me on the thirteenth day."
"Who the hell is Bren?!" He demands, stepping closer to me.
I back up into the wall behind me and raise my eyebrows in confusion. "Who?" I ask.
"That's what I'm asking you! Who the hell is Bren?" Ryder shouts, clearly aggravated.
"I don't know! Why are you asking me?"
Ryder's eyes hold nothing but anger as he whips his phone out of his pocket and shows me his messages.
"I didn't send that!" I defend myself.
"Obviously you did! It came from your freaking phone! Who the hell is Bren?!" Ryder shouts, stepping closer to me. My eyes widen and I whimper, turning my head away from him in fear. I've never seen him this angry... It's terrifying.
Ryder sighs. "When you figure all of this crap out, then you can talk to me." He hisses, before stomping out the back door.
Join Ryder and Avery as they enter the Big Apple. A new adventure awaits. Will the struggles of college tear them apart? Or will their love be infinite? Find out in, "Her Prince."
