Around two or so years ago, the world as we knew it was destroyed in a matter of hours. A city not far off from where a group of college students sat at a bar had an outbreak. Where it started, no one listened to the radio long enough to know. Just enough to know it started  on the east coast of America, and spread throughout the world overnight. Of course coran and hunk are nice to him. Not even shiro is like a brother to him anymore. Allura beats him. Lance verbally abused him and Pidge is forced into the torture but she tried to resist but always joins in. Hunk and coran usually try and stop it but to no prevail. Keith get captured by the galra prince. He soon gains his trust and starts to feel safe with him. They are his new family.

But being the most sensible of the group, Hunk decides to keep Lance and Keith far away as possible.
