As much as we prove to be intelligent beings, adults just keep disregarding us.
"You're 15. You don't know about [insert subject I do know about and probably more than whoever is saying this]."
The only things we're qualified to talk about in their eyes are internet and our futures. As if we all had being the next Zuckerberg as a dream (and a capacity). As if we'd written down and thought through our plan for the next twenty years, minute by minute. As if they had.
It's so tiring, really, how they forget who they were when they were 15! They considered themselves entire human beings alright, I'm sure!
