The universe is made up of millions of galaxies, billions of stars, trillions of planets; but there is only one sentient race in all of that vast emptieness. This is the universe belonging to the humans, but what they have yet to discover is that it is tied into the larger web of Existence, eight universes each wholly devoted to a single form of sentient life, and each directly connected to eachother. No human has ever been able to find proof of the existence of a soul, and this is for one reason: the soul isn't made of matter from that universe. In death, it is possible to pass to other planes in the Existence and become a part of a whole new world. However, while these worlds are intertwined direct contact is difficult. This is where Tyler Jacobs finds himself; he is not a hero placed above the rest of humanity, but he will find that all souls are destined for greatness in their own way.
