In the world of Armenia, seven major kingdoms exist, equal in power and strength. These seven nations have vied for for control and domination of the world for millennia. Peace has been hard won, but now it is on the verge of collapse, and it will only take one event to cause a global war.

The White Tower of Mages is an academy founded on neutrality for those who possess the sacred gift of magic. It is the place where all noble children go to train to become mages, no matter what kingdom their allegiance is to. But there is a dark force at work to destroy the tower.

Jonas Eaton, a peasant boy, has the ability to use magic. He is the first peasant to have magic, and he will change the world. Those in his city seek to use him as a weapon. Fate has other plans in store for him.

He is the Tower's only hope for there is an unique gift buried deep within him. He will have to face many powerful enemies on his journey. Allies and friends will join and fall around him. Can he awaken his power to save the White Tower and the world or will the White Tower finally fall and be buried under ash and fire of the Shadows of Chaos.

While he was proficient as a sword, he served as a strategist for the Kingdom's armies. While the people loved him most of his family despised him. Therefore his father disowned him and exiled him to a distant village. Separated from the Kingdom as a separate country William saw this as an opportunity to build this village into a great empire. And on his journey he will bring concepts and ideas from his own world together. He will meet many people on this journey of revenge. And who knows maybe he will find love along the way?
