I will no longer be updating this guide. I'm leaving it up in case it will continue to be helpful to anyone in the future. People have asked me writing tips, Wattpad tips, and whatever. The rambling of a writer
[Me, complaining and contradicting all and everything written in every fanfiction created.] No hate, Just me, rambling about different topics in Fanfiction writing. Why? Because we all start somewhere, am I right? The good, the bad, the rightout clichès and the straight up delulu stuff. Note that I probably did most -if not all- of these things myself when writing, so be prepared of your beautiful cringefest and maybe learn a thing or two about writing a plot/story. Side note: Writing is a creative process, so... no shame in making any mistakes! We all have to start from somewhere! Side side note: Most of the things I talk about come either from my personal opinion OR from the things I've learned over the years. I've been writing since age ten and even did a Minor in creative writing whilst studying for my degree. Last side side side note: The fun is to read these chapters and then visit a random story on wattpadd. I guarentee you, you'll either groan in annoyance ance you can see these things or you giggle at how predictable things will get once you know some writer mistakes. The Suggestion Box, Vol. 4: A to Z Challenge
Back in June, I decided to take the "A to Z Challenge", which usually involves writing something centered around one word corresponding to each letter of the alphabet. It being a short story challenge, occurring weekly, I decided to "up the ante" to incorporate the rules of a Suggestion Box list (Name, Place, Time, and Object) and turn it into the next iteration of this series! Forthwith, I went through every letter of the alphabet and tried to look back over any previous story that I'd written (except the fanfiction) to find characters whose names began with each letter. Most of the time, I could find a character from a previous Suggestion Box installment (so be sure and check out the referred "original stories", always noted at the beginning of the tale!) but I also took the opportunity to use characters from other unfinished novels, and even a few opportunities for tie-in stories to my published novella, "Princess of Undersea."Complete
