I Am Everything
Excerpt: "I am everything: The autumn winds easing the leaves away from their branches, A baby's smile at daddy's funny face, The tears that seep into the soil at a funeral, A heavy snowfall on Christmas Eve. I am a hug: Offered only during times of sadness, Never given often enough. I am a mirror: Reflecting the moods of those in my surroundings Or the inanimate objects that remain once all have gone home. I am a microphone: Echoing the opinions of those around me, Telling the truths of all, but only being accepted by one. I am a shell: Full of the many memories of yesterday, Unable to grasp anything today. I am a skeleton: Stripped away of any feeling, After everyone has taken a piece. just some poems I wrote when I'm feeling low or in a dark place, my poems help me cope with my depression and other mental problems it also helps me from going all the way down in my dark times. these poems are dark, depressing and some have suicide in them, if you don't like poems like that I wouldn't recommend reading this. Hurt Beyond Repair.
Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them. Petals of my moonflower
Red isn't always romance, sometimes it's blood, Moon isn't always for lovers, but sometimes for secret cries, Flowers aren't always for marriage, but sometimes for grave, Petals aren't always soft, sometimes they prick the soul. No plagiarism/No hatred plz. Also some things might contain mature contents like self harm. I want to say those kinds of suicidal poems are not to inspire anyone to self harm. I'm strictly against self harm myself. Those thoughts are just a means to release myself. Started writing this book around 25th June, 2021Complete
