Avery has everything taken from her on her birthday. It seems that the world war five has just started. Avery could care less as long as she had her family. But everything changed on her birthday she was turning 18 so much time has gone by since the last time she saw her little brother. But when her brother knocks on the door and says that he needs to take hey cousins and he needs to take as well her younger sister, Avery's not very happy. Instead she volunteers to take her sisters place and leads. Avery knows that she can make it but when a newbie shows up at their campsite and other soldiers say that he is in what will Avery do now he's really good at fighting and really good at everything she's good at.
