What if the flowers in the porcelain vase displayed in your living room are capable of keeping memories? What if you're able to see what the flowers saw by touching them? Emma Hollands, a girl of sixteen, can do just that, and she's going to use those memories to do what she loves: go on adventures. Her family and the boy-next-door don't like the sound of it though. They think she's looking for trouble, but Emma's not going to listen - especially not to Aiden Lockwood, so what's going to happen when they're stuck with each other for a week?

He was the boy who left. She was the girl who couldn't forget. One year. 365 days of silence. That's what Aiden gave Emma when he walked out of her life without a trace. Now he's back, with a darkness in his eyes she doesn't recognize and a pull she doesn't remembers being this strong. What do you do when the boy who shattered your world walks back into it a year later, with the same crooked smile and a million secrets in his eyes? When the old, electric pull between them is stronger than ever. Between jealous friends, a toxic ex, and the suffocating weight of the secrets he's still keeping, Emma finds herself pulled towards him all over again. He's determined to win her back, one stolen moment, one possessive touch, and one heartbreaking confession at a time. But rebuilding a love on the ashes of the past is a dangerous game. And this time, the fire might just burn them both to the ground.
