A failing comedian spends a night with his girlfriend at a party on New Year's Eve. He makes a wish to become better at his profession so that he could provide for his future family. Unfortunately, everything about his life begins to fall apart because of it.
Inspired by the workings of Rod Serling's "The Twilight Zone" this short story follows this comedian's life goes downhill.

Greetings, human. You can call me Synopsis. One of the first to break the third wall. Or fourth...whatever wall I am breaking. Please, may I be so honored as to present what is it that goes on in this world, without actually not telling you what the story is about. Life is hard. Rock Valley; a place named by a blind guy who fell into a ditch and spent his entire life there. A place where putting on your pants without checking for spiders might be the last thing you do. A place which lies in the middle of the edge of the bottom of nowhere. A place that's about to face some thing. An eyeless guy drives into the remote town of Rock Valley. Now, for one thing I'm pretty certain about eyeless people, is that they cannot see...so Vudan Misch, as he goes by the name, moving into Rock Valley means that something supernaturally major is about to take place and I guess that's what you want to find out in detail. And while commuting from a bigger city to the much smaller town of Briarsfield where she grew up is a pain, Evie likes the stability. The normalcy. Because the dreams or nightmares that Evie had started having a little over a year ago now are anything but normal. Dreams of an endless void of fog. They've persisted and refused to leave her alone now for months. And Evie is haunted by the chilling feeling that she is not alone in the fog. But when the fog suddenly becomes real, weather completely uncommon for Briarsfield at this time of year, Evie wakes up to a sensation of dread. And that something is very different. And very wrong.
