When Haruhi Fujioka was 9 years old, she always dreamed of owning a doll. When her birthday came, she told her dad that she saw a doll while they were strolling. Ranka, her dad, complied to her request and went to buy it for her birthday. It was a male, monochrome doll, just sitting on the window. It had hair, buttons for eyes, a stitched, emotionless mouth, gray clothes, and a fluffy body.

It was a cute old-fashioned doll. Ranka was curious: Why had his daughter want this.. Doll? Was it because it was rare and hard to find? Antique? Ranka shook his head. Whatever his daughter wanted. At least it wasn't any boring stuff that she wanted before.

But.. Something was off, when he grabbed it the stitched mouth started to grin slightly and a whisper that he barely heard:

"FiNalLy.. A nEw MaStEr. A nEw ToY! hAhA.."

This time, humans are toys and dolls are their new owners.
