I am a seventeen year old high school student who has many friends and a loving family of two parents and a younger brother. That was until they came. Earlier that night, I had been at a party at my friends house, drinking and talking about boys as every girl my age was. I left early due to a curfew and headed home. I checked in with my father and tucked my little brother into bed- little did I know that later that night, the unexpected would happen and we would all wake up to a strange environment outside.
