Tom ran back into the house he had been kicked out of, white hot anger burning in his eyes. Finding the door locked, he proceeded to kick it down. Tord turned his head sharply at the noise. "Oh... Tom, what are you doing here?" Tom pulled a price of paper out of his back pocket and pointed. "Well, what are you doing here?" Tord lifted him hands into the air and sighed. "Ok, you got me. I just came back for something I left behind. " he slowly crept to the large button in the middle of the room. He slammed his fist on it, a sycophant smile playing on his lips. It faded quickly though, as a silicon tube descended from the ceiling. "My hat!" Tom wasn't buying it, and rammed into him.

Both Tom and Edd flee to another island and meet yet another boy, Matt. A few more weeks go by and they're taken to a foreign monster hunting facility. There Tom meets Tord once more. The four go to an orphanage.
