The Witch's Curse

Ashlyn Cross is a member of one of the most powerful witch lineages in the world. But the Cross family has a rare trait that sets it apart from the rest. One witch in each generation is deemed the most pure by the fates, and is blessed with a connection to the family ancestors and the earth itself allowing them to draw on their magic. The others receive magic through the chosen one, which means that one has more power than all the others combined. Ashlyn decides it’s more of a curse than a blessing. When she realizes her magic only makes those she loves hate her, Ashlyn runs away from home, seeking a normal life. But in the end her reality catches up with her and she winds up at Willowick College, a school for supernatural students.
