The Story of Amira Jahan~A Syrian War Refugee

(Short story in two parts)

Amira Bitar had a typical life in her hometown, Latakia. That is, till rebel forces attacked her home on March 2014. With her parents dead, Amira and her little sister, Rima, had to fend for themselves. Somehow, the duo survived and were adopted by Omera and Aashir Jahan. Nevertheless, after two years, Amira still has to face the issues of bullying, PTSD as well as school. Fortunately, the time has come for Amira to show her true colors to her fellow classmates.
