You are taking over one of you friend's house for the weekend... But you do not know that your friend has some secrets... Your friend has been covered by drugs, alcohol, and sleeping without his wife for over five months now... You find disturbing hints around the house that makes you shiver and slowly get crippling as time passes. You must enter the house at your own risk... Many of the neighbors complain of children screaming and crying... But you have found no kids or children to be existing in the house... Your friend is to be 21 as you are a few years older at the age of 23. You have known him through all your life... As people say "Friends tell Friends secrets and shall keep them", but this "friend" of yours seems to be hiding something under the blanket of "happiness and joy" as he says his mood is all the time... You think you're going crazy.. Maybe you are... Maybe you're not... Your wife and kids are away as his wife is... He's probably off drunk or trading... But you never really knew what he was doing since he was off every few weeks... You've been taking care of his house for a while... But this time.. It seemed different... It seemed.. Disgusting... Grove hill has a history of mysterious disappearances and deaths. This is the story on how I got to the bottom of it and what I found on the other side. Jade the small town girl who loved to hard and broke even harder found herself in a strange alluring world of misfits and killers. She doesn't know exactly how she ended up in the position she in all she knows is that she'll fight to stay. In a killer string of events she's pushed into corners and tested left and right. Will she fight for what she wants will she stand up and protect the secrets she has discovered. Or will she let it kill her. A angel of light for a man who has a dark past, will she lose self control or will she bargain with the devil himself. There might even be a twist that nobody was ready for. The killing are happening again I said to my mother from the living room, she walked in to watch the news reporter explain the chain of evens that have been happening a little to close together in grove hill. The reporter spoke clearly "the last where about's have not been released yet but the lapd have been on the case for months now with the disappearances still happening will we ever get to the bottom of the phantom killer back to you John" both me and my mom looked at each other in sync saying lock up I'll take the upstairs rooms and you lock up down here. Walking up the steps my head kept circling around the fact that more and more disappearances are happening who or what could possibly be doing this. I made sure to lock every window, heading back downstairs I heard a plate drop and a scream. Mom! Mom answer me! Circling into the kitchen I see my mom laid out on the floor blood gushing from her stomach. No mom I scrabbled to grab a towel and placed it hard on her wound. "WHY CAN'T YOU GET IT INSIDE YOUR HEAD?" He trapped my trembling body between his arms and slammed his fist into the wall. I flinch at the sound as I feel tears forming in my eyes. My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now.
