"I wasn't always this screwed up. I mean, no one starts out screwed up; it takes weeks, months, years, decades. 'Well, how long did it take for you to become screwed up?' you may be wondering. And to tell you the truth, I don't know. It may have started when both my father and brother died, my mother became a druggie, and my friends turned on me. It may have started when my angel of a boyfriend cheated on me with my only friend left, when I needed them both the most, or when his angel of a twin brother befriended me, only to back-stab me just like his brother. Well, let me just say that the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree." Moving to South Carolina was supposed to give Monique Dabuelo a fresh start. No drama, back-stabbing friends, or sadistic exes. And especially no memories of her late father and brother. But when old faces, and memories, start to resurface, her already screwed up mind, will be taking a turn. And not for the better.

She didn't do it for attention. Not really. It was supposed to be a wild, unforgettable night out with her girls-dancing, laughing, and maybe making a few questionable decisions. But when the tequila hit, the music was right, and her friends dared her to take it a step further... she did the one thing she swore she'd never do. She got Duke Dennis' name tattooed on her hip. Not just any tattoo-his full name, in smooth cursive, placed right above the curve of her waist. Permanent ink. Real commitment. The kind of move that had "What were you thinking?" written all over it. And to make it even crazier? She had her best friend film the whole thing. A short video. A flash of soft skin. The sound of Duke's iconic phrase-"Boy ain't no way boy"-playing in the background. She laughed as they posted it to her Close Friends story on Instagram, tagging him for good measure. It was meant to be a bold, blurry memory. Instead, it went viral. When Duke himself saw the story and replied, Dymira Johnson didn't expect much. Maybe a laugh. Maybe a "you trippin." What she got was interest. Curiosity. Duke asking for another video. Then, asking to post it to his story. From there-it exploded. TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter, Discord-everyone had an opinion. Everyone wanted to know who the mystery girl with the Duke Dennis hip tat was. And for a moment, she was the moment. But then the messages stopped. No more replies. No follow-ups. A month passed. Silence. Until 2 a.m., after a party, buzzed off liquor and temptation, Dymira opened her DMs and hit send: "What you doing?" She didn't expect a reply. But Duke? He was up. And he remembered her. What started as a flirty, chaotic, one-night decision is about to turn into something far more complicated. Feelings start to bubble. Jealousy gets involved. And when two people with unresolved tension finally meet again in person-nothing is off-limits. He didn't ask to be stamped on her body. But now that he is-he doesn't want anyone else getting close.
