A boy with a secret who wants to earn her trust while his life is falling apart. He was the boy who changed her life.

But Perseverance, a Night Warrior who believes One needs redirection to find "proper" romance, makes One's life miserable from sundown to sunup. So One's plan to get Perseverance out of his life is to date his daughter--until she discovers his light magic and turns on him, making him flee into the woods. One has many reasons to despise Perseverance. So when he meets Michael, an expert at light magic, it's really not a question of "if" One will embrace this prophetic Destroyer role and enact vengeance--it's a matter of One having no clue how to control his magic, or take on a castle full of Night Warriors by himself. He thought all hope was lost until he stumbled before Rose in the woods of the castle grounds. They come to an agreement to help each other. Break Thaddeus' curse and as king he'll release Rose from her imprisonment. But what happens when Thaddeus begins to have other motives to becoming king? What will happen when Rose begins to realize that maybe not all royals are monsters? "I don't just spout nonsense, Rose. I'm not a man that plays around. In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited

(I wrote this story when I was fifteen and it's held a special place in my heart ever since. I started uploading it in 2015 and never got around to finishing it. Recently though, I've gotten back into Wattpad and thought I might as well just release the rest of the chapters and see what happens.) ***Completed*** Jack is in hiding. To his friends he is known as a thief and works for a crooked boss but when he meets Kari everything changes. He knows that she is the only one that can stop Shado, the man that has taken over Seasons and is destroying everything. It's up to him and Kari to save his home. Kari is a normal girl... if you consider living in a group home with a bunch of broken kids normal. She's always wondered about her parents, about magic, and about why she could hear things that others couldn't. Then she sees a mysterious boy with brown hair at one of her field trips and her mundane lonely world changes forever and she slowly begins to realize who she truly is and what she is meant to do.

Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.
