The Walking Dead
Emberly was always a quiet short girl, people always called her; 'boring' and 'mute'. Till one day the whole world gets destroyed. On her way home from school, she was walking, one foot after the other. She just stared at the ground, not walking to look up, not wanting to pay attention. She just wanted everyone to disappear. She gasped when she bumped into someone, she fell back and looked up at a kid from her school that always called her mute. He turned and groaned then fell on top of her, she quickly started trying to get him off while he continued to try and attack her. She didn't know what was happening he never did anything like this. She looked into his eyes and seen they were a stormy grey. She looked around to see a bunch of people walking and groaning, others packing and driving, crashing and running, getting bit and mourning. Finally she pushed him off and stomped hard on his face then grabbed her bag and ran home, wanting away, surprised sounds came from her as groaning followed behind her. She finally got home, parents no where in sight. She cried for a mere few minutes and gasped as a small group of people walked in, guns in hand. "Little girl, were you bit? Scratched? Injured?" A low voice sounded. She shook her head. "What's happening... where's my mom and dad." The group was silent, I was picked up by a tall man who put a necklace around me, it was a heart shaped locket. "What's your name?" He asked. "Emberly." "Alright Ember, your apart of us now, we'll protect you, your family." She thought it would last forever, but that's not how it works. What happens when Ember goes into a store to grab supplies, all alone and hungry and finds a boy just about her age maybe older and he convinces her to join them. She agrees on one condition. "When one person dies I'm leaving." WARNING---- MATURE CONTENT, DRUGS, VIOLENCE, GORE, etc.
