this story is about a girl named Oakley.it is mostly about graduation that is approaching more and more.she is not sure she is ready for the challenges that are up ahead. starting a new school means new friends . this is the biggest concern to Oakley because she is very shy . matter's get even worse when her best friend says that it is best if they aren't friends any more . this first confusing to her at first but she finally see as time goes on that she doesn't need Jane to be her friend.oakley realizes as time goes on that she wasn't meant to be here in the first place.one day during ELA class the teacher asked Oakley to stay after class because she seen the cuts on her arms.she asked if there was any thing that she wanted to tell her she said no. Then She said can I go because I don't want to be late for my next class . The teacher toldher that if she ever wanted to talk that she was there for her .To. We went on and more and more she started to see that everything was not OK.so the teacher went to the principal and said that she thinks that they should ask Oakley's parents to come in for a meeting to discuss what was going on with Oakley.when her parents finally come in and the principal asked them if there was a change in the home that would cause a problem for Oakley .
