The Golden Snitch by drarrycuddles

A Drarry Story. Set shortly after the war and during the first term of year eight. Harry returns to Hogwarts battling with PTSD and Draco has to return to complete his N.E.W.T.s as part of his probation. Hogwarts has been restored physically, but the school still needs to heal. Draco is being bullied and Harry steps in to help. It turns out that something as small and insignificant as a Golden Snitch may be the healing link for both Harry and Draco and for Hogwarts as a whole.

After the war, most of the students return to Hogwarts for their eight year. So is the Golden Trio, and so is Draco Malfoy. But before the year even starts, Harry and Draco find themselves sitting on a playground. And somehow, Draco has no intentions of leaving. Who would've guessed that a story like theirs might have a chance to be overwritten?

Headmistress McGonagall has decided everyoe under age will be retaking the year the just graduated seeing as proper teaching was thrown out the window. So this year there will be double the first years. As for over aged students, they may retake seventh year if they wish. She also believes a resorting should be set for anyone wanting once. I mean the war had drastic effects on anyone involved or with family involved. Hermione Granger will be attending and is dragging along her boyfriend and best friend. Harry Potter is secretly thankful for this as he can't take the silence of his new home. Plus, if he stays home dwelling on his girlfriend's, Ginny, death any longer he might go insane. Draco Malfoy will be attending to get away from the Malfoy Manor which is filled with fighting. He can't wait to go back to school.
