|PREQUEL TO BURLAP|

In the 1920's, running a traveling circus proves to be more than Thomas Jensen can handle after his wife, Dorothy, dies in childbirth. Left with a failing troupe, an infant son, and crippling depression, he isn't sure where to turn or how to move on. When the sight of his son growing and needing something more than just him spurs him out of his black abyss, he decides it's time to find a mother figure for the baby.

From the moment Evelyn Bennett glides into his office, requesting a job, Thomas is smitten. But, after marrying her, he discovers a terrifying secret. She thinks she's two people, and only one of her is inherently good.

Wander (Terres book 4)

43 parts Complete

A year. That's how long it's been since they started running. Rannok thought things would be easier this way. But a year later and they're still running from the shadow of Sasha's father and from the memories that plague Rannok's dreams at night. A year later and they are still wandering. Rannok didn't know that when he stole money from the local innkeeper, that this time it would set the local mercenaries after him. When he searches for help, he finds the people of the mountains are just as intolerant as the ones back home, just in different ways. And with cultural differences coming between them, he questions if he and Sasha will ever truly see eye to eye, and whether they will ever truly find peace.
