(( Written by my friend, Previously published on @sskybluehands )) "Oh, come on already. It's just water, whats there to be afraid of?" * * * As far as Quinn could remember, she's always had a terrifying fear of the ocean. 80% of it was undiscovered, it covered the planet, and there was no way of knowing what could be lurking underneath. There were only a few problems... She lives in Hawaii. Her best friend owns a boat. Her boyfriend loves paddle boarding. Her backyard is a beach. She's half fish.

Bright blue haired Quinn Hunters was just like any other artist in her west coast high school. She painted all the time, hung out with her only friend Nita, and also supported the boys' varsity swim team by going to their competitions ever so often. It wouldn't be until her eighteenth birthday that she would be feeling dizzy, and as she would pass by the swimming pool in the gym on the way to lunch....find herself falling into the waters after slipping. Being rescued by the swim team's captain, Gavin Elwood, Quinn would find herself submerged by this strong connection to be with him and to go into the waters. The last thing she would expect would be to find out that she was a mermaid and the connection between her and Gavin meant much more than she thought... ALL RIGHTS RESERVED COPYRIGHTED 2015
