Miyuki Kazuya, a catcher whose talents were catching the eyes of many, and Akio Takigawa, a girl who always feels the need to prove herself, attend Seidou, a school reknowned for it's baseball team. Having formed a battery during their first year, Miyuki and Akio were rising as a battery until Akio gets injured during a match. After months of not hearing the ball collide with the catcher's mitt, Akio is ready to stand on the mound once more. However, with the arrival of Sawamura Eijun and Furuya Satoru, she will have to prove she is once again useful. Will she be able to gather the courage to go the distance (and maybe confess to her crush along the way)?
