My great great great grandmother Ava has passed this journal through the generations and I feel the time is right to share it since she never got the chance of too. This was written by her and the omens have told me to share with you now-

Greetings Dragon, Magic, and Legend Enthusiasts. My name is Avalon Finley and I am not your average 26 year old woman. Ever since the young age of 7 I have been an avid Dragon Lover, and have devoted my life to the science of Dragonology. If you are not familiar with the term- Dragonology is the study of Dragonkind. I have worked in secrecy for many, many years but now I am releasing this journal to the public eye.
The reason I fear the great Dragons that once ruled our adoring planet are on the sheer brink of extinction. I know there are certainly many sceptics reading this right now and I assure you after you read this you will believe in Dragonkind. This "Diary" you are about to read is my log book in which I have kept records of each and every of my Dragon encounters in great detail.
You will be quite surprised to uncover the little known truth of the mysterious and gripping nature of Dragons. I am the last voice for these misunderstood beasts. As throughout all of history people have seen dragons as evil maiden eating monsters that casually and sinisterly destroy kingdoms. Whereas the truth is quite opposite.
From the great wizard Merlin to the adventurer Marco Polo, this great study has been passed to me to now finally give to you.

A Castle Of Crystal
Nothing in my life had ever made sense. They told me it was normal, I'd grow into who I was supposed to be, that things would get better; here I am now, going through the motions and wondering if this was really what I was destined to do for the rest of my life. Turns out, it wasn't. Nothing in my life had ever made sense but that was because my memories were fractured, pieces of a person I used to be, one I used to know lurking in the shadows of my dreams. I was just a normal guy trying to navigate the world but saying yes to everything and falling into the same monotony just wasn't cutting it anymore. I had a steady job, a pretty girl seemed interested in me and my 22nd birthday was coming up just before Christmas to give me something to look forward to. That all changed when I remembered her. I'd never forgotten her truly, blue was the only thing I knew and that Neptunian shade was so striking it stuck with me from the night she screamed at me in the rain but it wasn't until I found all the papers, the notes and crystals that I started to remember the world she lived in. One that wasn't my own and that had so much more to offer. It sounded crazy but I knew it was real and getting there, finding her and fixing the bridge that I'd unwittingly burned was going to be hard but I was ready to be more than a desk jockey typing my life away. I wanted to see the orange skies instead of the blue and find her sitting in a field of crystals again, staring at the stars.Complete
Blind Instincts
*COMPLETED* My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette. "Look at me." I opened my eyes, though it made no difference. Black is still black, all I am left with are my four senses. He will kill me if I don't look. He will kill me if I do. Maybe he won't notice my depthless eyes from across the gazebo. My life depends on it. dragon rebirth
The dragons have come and gone since the Pliocene epoch when Wooly Mammoths roamed with humans during the ice age. For many of the I and E generation in the Americas and parts of Europe, it was something to avoid being taken by them to their world. But many knew the stories they told, the things they saw and missed, and in this world of social media, the child coming home, reborn as a shifter. For 16-year-old Nathan that was his reality. For 11 years he's not only avoided getting grabbed but helped others avoid a similar fate. But a black dragon was watching him grabbing him only to lay low in the nearby woods, something they did to pick out who'd they take. It did that for 10 years, more than 3 times longer than usual. His actions and the amount of time he had avoided them made him a sort of celebrity in his town in the midwest. But one day that black dragon made its decision, he was to be her hatchling. When they're usually marked the child could turn to protective mode, running from home to prevent drawing attention to other children for the picking, and that's what he did, right to where they last landed. Luck, choice, a possible spell in those claws, whatever you may think doesn't matter. A black dragon never misses its mark. With agility unsurpassed by the other types they're almost impossible to avoid. But these dragons didn't breathe fire, were a threat, nor in any way the size of a 747 max. All they had that was unique from other creatures was a highly evolved brain with the intelligence of a human and a heart of platinum. Note. Some creatures don't belong to me in any way. Avalon Isn't What It Used To Be
My mother says my endless curiosity and my need to venture is a curse. Though, I know she only says that because I'm just like my father; who went out to curb his appetite for new experiences and never came home. Do I feel abandoned? No. How could I? Not when I fully understand the craving... Fae almost never leave Avalon. It's rare, and normally Fae that leave Avalon are forced into exile. Hardly ever do they leave voluntarily. My mother hates to see me leave, and a part of me is ashamed to do so, seeing as I'm basically abandoning her like my father. But she has my baby brother, Almned, who isn't even 500 yet. And I'm one penalty away from serving time in the Avalonian Guardhouse. Which is ridiculous, considering I have only broken a few rules. Avalon used to be a vast place of freedom, a sanctuary for persecuted Fae, the Homeland where everyone had a voice. Well... Avalon is not what it used to be... An old, unedited story I wrote years ago. Copy-pasted from my IPad. A story about a young dragon named Luminous, and her journeys around a fantastical world that really isn't as alive as it was described to be. So: there are many spelling mistakes, lots of sections of text that make no sense, random things being said, and... Yea. This is a story I thought of when I was a little kid, to keep me entertained at night when I couldn't sleep. No, I couldn't spell back then. It was written in parts, in old sketch books. Then typed. Here's the prologue or whatever the actual heck this thing is: Once, in a land so long ago there was a world filled with all types of creatures. Big cats, wolves, birds, fish, dinosaurs, and, most of all... Dragons. In this realm, there were two types of dragons: Black dragons, evil, mysterious creatures, and White dragons, elegant, beautiful beasts. Not all of these dragons were black and white though, infact, there was only ever one white dragon and one black dragon ever hatched. They were.. Well, use to be... Sisters. These dragons can be in all manner of shapes and sizes, colours and patterns, and not all dragons breathed deadly flames. Some had the breath of water, ice, snow, air, wind, and all colours of fire. But, no matter what type of dragon it is, how strong or weak it may be, they all had magic in them. You can tell whether a dragon is a black dragon or white dragon simply by looking into its eyes. Eyes... They show a creatures soul and heart. This is the story of me. My name is luminous, and Im a very special lady dragon. I became the leader of all dragons, and this... This is my story. ... But just as the first sign started.just as the tsunami was about to hit the land.the mother Dragon put her egg,inside the cave of protection;the cave that won't let any harm come to those whom are in it.the egg was to be safe.but it would never,ever hatch,unless someone was there to take care of it;meaning if a dragon survived. But the cave and it's magic is now so old,it doesn't know the difference,when the feather of a mother crow touches it.the egg hatches and the baby is helpless,but finds it's was to the crow who freed it.this crow named Cradline,has just lost her chicks and was outcast from her home,so she feels pitty for the dragon.even if it was a mythical dangerous creature,Cradline knew she was looking into the innocent,helpless eyes of a hatching;so she raised him. Cradline names him Argentium unum et( The silver one).but everyone calls him Unus ( One ) He is growing fast. Cradline tries to keep him hidden,but soon he is found.everyone fears this silver beast and try to destroy him.few are on his side and things only get harder when the kings rival,who was always jealous of the king,wanting to be king himself... He had lead the army of animals who tried to hunt Unus.Scrunchy the cat tries many cruel ways to destroy Unus and his friend's..
