Long ago, the kingdom of Ceridia was split so that the creatures roaming the realm wouldn't be able to war with one another. The mortal queen allied with the Fae to seperate the three races in order to prevent War; Humans, Fae, and the Wendylin. In the modern world, the humans are oblivious to both the Fae and the Wendylin, unable to see either. The Wendylin live amongst the humans but cannot touch them. The Fae can see and touch both races, but choose to keep to themselves. This seperation kept the peace between the three races and was erased from the counrty's history. Until one day, the human princess of Ceridia is able to see Wendylin. More and more Wendylin are showing up, now able to kill humans. In order to save her kingdom and keep the peace, Princess Blaire must dig up the secret's of her country's past, find allies in unexpected places, and learn the meaning of betrayal.
