"What the hell is happening?" Minho demanded. I couldn't say anything, shouldn't say anything. I just stared at him. "Mallory, talk to me." He begged. I merely blinked in response.

I had to stand there today, next to Jansen and try not to cry as he listed off everyone who would die of the disease. I tried to catch Minho's eye but he wasn't looking at me, he was staring at Newt. Thomas was staring at me though and it was a look of hate, of distrust. But I didn't know. I didn't know some of them were going to die but they were never going to believe me now.

"You're just going to lie to me." Minho whispered and I hated seeing him in so much pain. "You're just going to keep lying over and over and over." He slammed his fist against the metal.

"Minho!" I cried out, reaching out to me but again, he flinched. 

"How can we trust you?" Minho whispered and it was only then that I realized, Group A's fearless leader was crying.
