After picking a fight with the wrong person, he finds himself working for a pirate vessel, The Pale Queen. He finds that his captain's daughter allures him, compels him to her and yet she has a curse that has been placed on her by a witch. But Elliot has a darker past than meets the eye and, much to his shame, he knows the witch, quite well.
