"The look in his eyes.. I've seen it before, but never like that. There was nothing inside them, no life, no light. They were black. They were like a one sided mirror only he could see past. His eyes were just... blank... His laugh I can still hear it ringing in my ears when I walk through an empty hallway, when I get in my car, its like nothing can drown it out. The fucking sound haunts me every day, even in my sleep." They stated, taking a drag from a nearly put out cigarette. The officer across from them wrote down any clue that might help. "Then what? We need every bit of detail you can remember." The person across from him inhaled deeply, wiping a tear from their cheek with the cigarette between their fingers. Their black acrylic nails raking across the back of their neck so hard they could've drawn blood. He recognized that. He did that whenever he remembered.
