Carrie is an open-minded 14 year old from Crestwood Orphanage. As she is already a teenager, she believes that all chances of being adopted has been lost. For as long as she can remember, Carrie has been writing letters to her father in prison. It is her understanding that when she was three years old her parents were involved in a car crash with her dad at the wheel. This incident lead to the death of her mother and landed her father a 25 years of jail time. Carrie thinks very highly of her father and knows that he will find her when he finishes his sentence. But what will happen when four strangers adopt her and change her life plan entirely?
