THIS IS NOT EDITED! Since there first night, Hermione and Draco have been enemies. Hermione being the star student, top of every class and Draco being the cliche nasty Slytherin. On a night in their seventh year, Draco gives Harry a kiss, but the next day he acts as if it never happened. A couple of years later, Harry feels lost and wonders what has become of his life. He is alone, depressed, and begins to think back to that strange night. What if things could have been different? What if he could have had something special now, if only he had made a different decision in the past? What if he had accepted Draco's offer that day on the Hogwarts Express when they travelled to the school for the very first time? Could a handshake have given him a different future?
