When Lily discovers that as Head Boy and Head Girl, she must share a Common Room and bathroom with James Potter, she has to learn not to hex him at first sight, or else suffer Potter's incessant babblings.

Except, the more time she spends with him, the less of a fool he seems to be. Soon, Lily finds herself wondering what would happen if she said yes next time he asked her out.

But, sometimes someone's pride can only take too much. So, when James decides that chasing after a girl who won't love him back isn't worth his pride, Lily has to decide whether the feelings she has for him are worth fighting for. She has to decide whether risking getting hurt is worth chasing after the boy who's chased after her every second of every day.
