I had never thought about my life as something sad or terrible. For me it was a normal life. I had friends, who always were with me. We talked, played together. Later on we started talking about boys, went shopping and dreamed about falling in love with someone, who will love you back as strongly as we did. Of course for us it is easier to find somebody like that. Somebody, who would love us uncondicionaly. You know why? Because I am a werewolf and our wolf have only one person, who they can love. That was how I met my only one. At least I thought I had met him. His name was Col Black. He was handsome, mouth-watering and he was really nice to me, but I will tell you my story. I stuttered out. I tried to sound brave and not let my fear show, but my mouth betrayed me. His golden red eyes flickered with a hint of pain for a moment then back to a cold stare, "I'd never hurt you, never put you in harm's way and I'm never letting him take you from me, you're mine." He said in a deep low voice, almost a growl, and his eyes seemed to have gotten darker. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?!' I tried taking a step back but his grip on my arm tightened. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance. And ran. ~~~ Nora Brown, a normal adult, living a normal life. Moving away from home to start fresh and meet new people. Just going where life takes her. Who knew that just one short encounter at work with a god-like man, would flip her life entirely upside down, and nothing would ever be the same again. So much for normal.
