Hamburg, 1940. Marlena is an ordinary 16 year old, with ordinary parents and lives an ordinary life. That it is, until she meets James Barnes, an ordinary English soldier who has been drafted to invade Germany, including Hamburg. The two meet and Marlena must face the ultimate decision between her own moral compass and her hearts desire.
