Quand ton cœur est noir, pourrit par ton hypocrisie, par ta lâcheté et par ta méchanceté, quand toi même tu es un tyran. Et quand tu fais souffrir les autres pour oublier ta propre souffrance, tu ne mérites que la vie que je mène, tu mériterais même pire.
La cigarette, l'alcool, pour oublier ta souffrance et ta vie que tu as stupidement gâché, faire l'hypocrite devant tes professeurs pour ne pas être soupçonné quand tu fait les pires choses, faire vivre ton entourage dans la terreur pour qu'il se tienne tranquille, voilà ton quotidien.
Et tout ça pour quoi? Pour oublier qu'au fond, tu es comme les autres, tu n'es pas plus fort, pas plus astucieux, pas moins sensible. Tout ça pour oublier qu'un jour, on t'a abandonné, comme si tu n'étais rien, ni personne ou comme quelqu'un qui n'aurais jamais dû exister.
Mais la chose qu'il ne faut jamais oublier, c'est que même si on ne s'en rend pas compte, il se présente à nous toujours d'innombrables chances pour se rattraper mais on préfère souvent les ignorer. Sauf quand cette chance est une fille, quelqu'un qui n'a pas peur de toi, qui ne craint rien et qui ose te contrer alors que tu fais souffrir une personne t'ayant dénoncé lors d'une de tes quotidiennes manigances ... Une fille sortant tout droit de ton passé, un passé dont tu n'aurais jamais voulus te souvenir.

My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe.
