"As I sip my tequila, I catch the image of a man sitting at the bar a seat away from me. He is wearing a gray V-neck shirt, a black leather jacket, and rugged jeans. His face is angular-shaped, his nose a small hook. The angle of his eyebrows makes him look like he is angry, but his vividly, bold sea-blue eyes say otherwise. They seem to long for something. "
"You two want different things?" Damon questions.
"I don't know what I want, but I know it's not what my father has dreamed up for me." I respond.
"Of course, you know. You want the exact same thing that everybody else wants. But, you haven't realized it yet."
"Well, alright, all-knowing sorcerer, what is it that I desire?"
"You want an adventure with so much passion that it will consume you." 

On a getaway trip, Genesis Ramirez crossed the paths of the infamous vampire, Damon Salvatore. Both of them have no idea that their lives were about to change forever.
