"What happened?....why are you avoiding me?'' I asked, seeing him turn to look away. "Daryl?" "You were right to want to kill em" Daryl finally spoke up with a whisper. I frowned and felt my breathing quicken with the idea. "He said somethin about... the men messing with some young girls. " He spoke, but I could hear the anger in his voice. "Beat the shit out of em just because of that..." He said and turned away from me. I thought that was it until he just kicked something of his over making a loud bang "son of a bitch" he snapped and sat down and held his head low. I walked over to him and stopped just a foot from him "what he said reminded me of....you..." he said and shook his head "Because of what happened to you...I remember how skiddish you were back then...if I had known what he was doin I would have beat the shit out of him too....I don't want that happening again..." he said and finally looked up to me. I didn't know what else to say. He whispered sharply and pushed the Freddie Krueger looking guy out of the way, and knelt down in front of me. "What's your name, sweetheart?" He spoke so low I could barely hear him. I didn't answer and just stared at the bat that was not even two feet from my face. "I'm trying to help you." His voice got sterner, and that just made me even more scared but I forced words out of my mouth. "F-Faye," I whispered, winching due to the fact it's been so long since I've spoken. The man nodded, then stood up and held out his hand. I looked up at him, and he nodded towards my ankle. "I've got stuff in the RV over there, I can help." I was reluctant to trust him, and he seemed to take notice. "You really don't have another option, kid."
