Here We Are

"When I open my eyes, I see nothing but white. Bright, blinding lights blaze down on my pale skin, I can barely keep my eyes open. I struggle to move, but soon become painfully aware that I am trapped. My wrists and ankles are bound by some sort of cool metal and I wriggle around trying to free my arms and legs. No use. Desperately, I try to remember any details of my location, but all I can seem to remember is walking home to my apartment after a coworker's birthday party. Nothing else?
I shriek into the white void, but nobody returns my pleading calls. My eyes begin to adjust to the blinding lights above, allowing me to make out the walls of my prison. It is a large room with seemingly no doors or windows, and a high ceiling. Any noise I make just gets lost in the spacious building. With my blurry vision, I also notice that the room is empty except for me and the surface I am laying on. Soon, I can see perfectly clear. My body is held down with large silver cuffs attached to an elevated white platform which provides no support for my body."
