Christina is a 24 year old, classy and intelligent young graduate  from a small but prominent university in Colorado. Almost a year after she returns to her  home, she finally receives a relevant job offer, in Mississippi.  Christina is nervous about moving out on her own, but decides to accept the position on the strength of her Aunt Toni, who offers to let Christina stay at her home. When Christina arrives in Mississippi, she soon realizes the difference between southern life and the one that she is accustomed to. The people are crass, the weather is humid, but now under a year contract with her job, Christina is forced to stay and cope. 

Then Christina meets Mace, a maintenance man, who defies every standard she has ever held for a man. He is a 26 year old high school dropout who values street sense over a college education.  Mace instantly falls for Christina's refined attitude, and tries his best to woo her with what he believes to be southern charm. While Christina is nor impressed or enthused about his tactics, his placement at her job forces her to get used to him. Will Christina loosen up and give him a chance? She knows what she wants, and feels she will give him a chance, until someone tries killing her chances with him. Eventually the two hook up, and both end up craving for more, getting it every chance they can. Can the two continue on with their affair without their peers figuring it out? (My first completed story from like 5th so let's just see how this can go! Sorry for terrible grammar...) Mary Steel, she's not a huge fan of boys and just love the way she is. She's not interested into finding new friends and only into school. Love for her is just a waste of time. Addison Woodrow on the other hand is very handsome for his age. He's very smart yet just..sad. All the girls come to him only for his looks but he sure isn't a fan of that. He's caring, sweet, funny and loving, not a player. Mary doesn't get it though.
