Two phrases that truly do have the same meanings. I love you, I miss you. Violet is your everyday girl next door kind of person. So is her best friend Jake. Violet and Jake have been best friends since they were toddlers; nothing more than that. What if one of them starts to grow feelings for the other? Would they risk their friendship and tell the other or keep their dark secret under lock and key? What if it becomes too unbearable to keep both their secret and their friendship? Which will be the first to go? Jake will soon be moving away because of his father's job relocation. Violet and her girl best friend Peyton make it their mission to make Jake fall in love with her by the end of summer before senior year; when Jake will be moving. Violet, Jake and Peyton set off on a long trek to complete everything on their bucket lists before the dreadful day. The three teens have one summer together left before one will leave them both. How will the bucket list filled summer affect the three teens relationships with each other?
