I got this idea from a roleplay I was doing on Supernatural Amino. It's almost the same thing with some changes. We didn't intend for this to be a story so, yes, lots of Twist and Shout references in here.

Castiel Novak didn't want to go to the dinner. But his parents told him to be there, he couldn't skip it. His life was okay at this point. He had a couple of friends, did good at school, his parents were cool (well as cool as they can be when you are a single child and adopted), he didn't have panic attacks anymore, he managed to hide his wings and no one bullied him anymore, almost. At this point he didn't want anything to change, but he usually didn't get what he wished for. That night everything changed. He knew he shouldn't have gone to that dinner, but that doesn't mean he regret it. He met his best friend that night, a best friend he might be falling for. Lots of overdoing. Castiel Novak was a 22 years old bass guitarist in a band called "Kings Of Purgatory" with his best friends Dean, Gabe and Benny.
