In the 16th century, Paris experienced one of it's worst winters ever. But in the midst of that horrible winter, they experienced something else. Murders. Disappearances. Maimings. They blamed these murders on creatures. Wolves that lived in the forest. Claimed they had a human form and would come into town and kill the villagers, stolen their bodies from their homes and feast on their flesh. Called them monsters. Demons. They called them Werewolves.

Avery Mercier doesn't believe in fantasies and he certainly did not fear them. So when his estranged grandfather passed and left him with all of his riches, including his Parisian estate, he doesn't bat an eye. Not even at the stories of the mythical werewolves that supposedly lived in the forest of Paris. But little does Avery know that the stories told are not a fantasy. He will come to realize just how closely his fate is tied with the Wolves of Paris
