I woke up shaking with fear and sweating cold. Voices of scared children and an innocent women, both frightened to no end, came attacking me from all directions and made my heart pound right out of my chest. I was afraid. I was not a killer and I would not become one.

I wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of guns. I shot straight up in bed, covered in sweat, then realize it was just a dream. I fall back asleep, but the memories continue to haunt me, and I wonder, will I ever be the same again.
