After his parents had gotten killed by the same rouge army,  he was left with his pack to suffer. At the age of 13, a cruel alpha took the place of his father, and at the age of 15, he had beaten the alpha in a challenge and gotten his position as alpha back,  but not without scars.  He is left without parents,  and runs his now biggest pack in America with an iron fist. Nothing can stop him from getting anything he wants.
