An unlikely relationship between a goody-goody freshman girl Regina McCartney and a total playboy Carson Perry quickly turns into something much more serious. Had you asked Regina McCartney freshman year if she ever thought she could have a stable relationship with Carson Perry, she would've thought you were crazy.

But just a few years later, that's exactly what happens. As soon as it seems everything is picture perfect, there is a tragic accident. Their worlds are flipped upside down in ways that will never allow for anything to be the same ever again. Just when they think it couldn't possibly get any worse, yet another curve ball is thrown their way, this one just as life-changing as the first.

But by the end of it all, they make their own bittersweet, imperfectly perfect fairy tale.
