"But I never asked for any of this. My destiny was decided for me years ago, and I found it out fifteen minutes before that bomb went off. That wasn't even enough time to do my only job." 19-year-old Ella has spent her whole life as a servant/best friend to Prince Oliver, but it wouldn't be long before it was time for Oli to get married. A series of annoying, dressed up, overdone suitors come to the palace, and it is Ella's job to assist them. But things are bound to go wrong, when you're in love with the person they are there to marry. Throw in a bombing, partially caused by Ella's supposedly dead father, and an organization seeking a revolution on the kingdom's behalf, and a spy hoping to destroy that Resistance, but not for the sake of the country, Ella is not only a helper to the princesses, but the only thing keeping them alive.
